1) Total Posts : A total Post of 6180 vacancies has been announced by RRB
- Technician Grade-I Signal 🚦: 183 Posts
- Technician Grade-III : 6055
- Technician Grade-III has many posts, the details of which are given below : ( Track Machine, Blacksmith, Bridge, Carriage and Wagon, Diesel (Electrical), Diesel (Mechanical), Electrical TRS, Electrical (GS), Electrical (TRD), Fitter (OL), Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Welder(OL), Crain Driver, Carpenter (Workshop), Diesel Electrical (Workshop), Diesel Mechanical Workshop (PU&WS), Machinist (Workshop), Welder (WORKSHOP), Trimmer (Workshop), Painter (Workshop) Etc..
2) Eligibility Criteria :
- Nationality/Citizenship :
- A citizen of India, or
- A citizen of Nepal, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- Age Limit : Age applicable to this CEN (as on 01.07.2025)
- Technician Grade-I (Signal) : 18 to 33 Years
- Technician Grade-III : 18 to 30 Years
- Relaxation In Upper Age Limit :
- SC & ST Candidates : 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates : 3 Years
- PwD (persons with Bench Marks Disabilities)
- PwBD -UR & EWS : 10 Years
- PwBD -OBC(N) : 13 years
- PwBD - SC & ST : 15 years
3) Educational Qualification :
- Technical Grade I (Signal) :
- A) Bachelor of Science In Physics / Electronics / Computer Science/Information Technology/ Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute (OR) B.Sc. in a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Physics/ Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology /Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute.
- B) Three years Diploma in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of above basic streams (OR) Degree in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of above basic streams.
- Technician Grade : III
- Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trade of Fitter / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic /Instrument Mechanic / Mechanic Mechatronics / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) / Welder / Machinist. (OR) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trade mentioned above.

- Processes of Application Fees :
- For General Candidates : Rs. 500/- (Rs. 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT.
- For SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwD, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EWS). (Rs. 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT.
- ONLINE fee payment only through internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI will be accepted.
- Fee can be paid by the candidates through ONLINE mode only.

- There shall be negative marking @1/3rd marks for each wrong answer
- Subjects :
- General Awareness : 10 Questions & 10 Marks
- General Intelligence and Reasoning : 15 Questions and 15 Marks
- Basic of Computers and Applications : 20 Questions and 20 Marks
- Mathematics : 20 questions and 20 marks
- Basic Science and Engineering : 35 Questions & 35 Marks
- Total : 100 Marks
- (B) Pattern & Syllabus of CBT for Pay Level-2 post , Technician Grade-III :
- Total Duration : 90 Minutes
- Total Questions : 100
- There shall be negative marking @1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.
- Subjects :
- Mathematics : 25 Questions & 25 Marks
- General Intelligence and Reasoning : 25 Questions and 25 Marks
- General Science : 40 Questions and 40 Marks
- General Awareness : 10 Questions and 10 Marks

7) Salary Details :
- You will get salary at 7th CPS pay level
- Technician Grade-I (Signal🚦) : Pay Level - 5 (Initial Pay Rs. 29,200/-)
- Technician Grade-III : Pay Level - 2 ( Initial Pay Rs. 19,900/-)
